From colour to black and white ,from black and white to colour

The next task was to separat out the red , green and blue channels from the picture. Again after watching the tutorial this was failry easy.

to which then separated and put all 3 versions of the picture on the screen to which could see the differences and effects of separating out the colours.For example in the green one the background becomes a lot darker and a lot more black where as in the blue the whole image becomes darker overall to the exstent where you can not see what is behind the main flower in the center, furthermore the red image is a contrast to the other 2 as the effect is alot lighter and brings out the white in the image and makes it a lot sharper allthough parts of the background are still dark however this is mainly down to the original black and white image.
