From black and white to colour , from colour to black and white

Changing a image from black and white to colour you first change the pictute to greyscale mode which turns the picture black and white then go to indexeed colour mode and then the colour table to which can alter and add colour to the picture to which i chose to change parts to green in photograph.Dutone using photoshop

Dutone is a effect which is done by combining black and another colour to which created a tint effect For example i combined black and blue to show the dutone effect in my image.The monotone picture is black and red combined which gives the red tint. However the effects are alot more interesting while experamenting with the tritone effect using 3 colours mine is black,yellow and grey to which created a sepia effect the overall point of duntone is to show the tonal range of greyscale images. The process todo this - photoshop-grey scale duntone /then alter to which ever colours and mode for example monotone/tritone.


Changing the colour table to create a posterisation effect is basically altering the colour palatte to create this effect to a image ,also creates a very artistic look to the image by adding different colour shades but also giving a cartoon look element to it.
